Today is one of those days,
When I feel good about life,
When I don’t feel so out of place,
I think I’ll go for a drive.

I hope that it won’t rain tonight,
So all the roads will be dry,
Although, I think that it just might,
The sky looks like it wants to cry.

I’ll search the crowd for your eyes,
Inside the cars at traffic lights,
But they’ll be random passersby,
Who’ll disappear in the night.

Beautiful Illusion

Remember me when you’re alone,
When no one calls you on your phone,
I’m now one with endless space,
Look at the stars, you’ll see my face.

I am your summer fantasy,
Someone you feel but cannot see,
Sometimes you kiss me in your dreams,
I know that or so it seems.

The accidental touch of hands,
The flow of curly hair strands,

What’s left of me? A tortured soul,
I’m caught inside a desert storm.
A while back I had a goal,
But now I’m lost inside a swarm.

My hands feel rough, so does my skin,
Some things already have begun,
Some other things will soon begin.
