Maybe I’m a wonder, who swims the dark blue sea,
No one goes under so deep to find me.

I have all the sphere; I float from shore-to-shore,
But I cannot adhere, what am I searching for?

I’ve looked for anyone to take a swim with me,
But now I am done, the blind cannot see.

No matter what I do; no matter what I say,
I’m stuck inside the blue, inside an empty bay.

It might be just a dream, an unfulfilling wish,
And all I do is scream, but I am just a fish. . .

Water everywhere, yet another day,
Stillness in the air, nothing else to say. . .

We walk the same earth and feel the same sun,
Same rain washes our sadness away,
I hear your heartbeat; you’re not just someone,
Who uses words, but has nothing to say.

I’d like to confess that I’m yet to find,
The wisdom of life, it’s just how it is,
Lessons I’ve learned were often unkind,
But I’m yet to gain the ultimate bliss.

I faintly believe that I’m not alone,
I still feel the doubt holding me in,
It leaves me so breathless, chilled to the bone,
It always greets me with its evil grin.

I need you right now, tomorrow’s too late,
I want you right here, but you are too far,
And now I wonder if it’s our fate:
Always to fear what seems too bizarre.

I get so tired from calling your name,
I need you to speak, to not hold your breath,
Knowledge is power which cannot be tamed,
Though ignorance only leads us to death.

We walk the same earth, just look at the ground,
Flowers are starting to lose their bloom,
But I still remain, I’m still around,
Patiently waiting inside my old room. . .

"Hidden Messages" by Stacey Geyer

I leave the messages for you,
But you must read between the lines,
And every word I say is true,
But you must catch it through my rhymes.

When eyes get tired, lips get sealed,
Just use your senses from within,
And know all will be revealed,
As I am stating herein.

When nightfall grants you its caress,
Just close your eyes and dream of me,
Just let it flow, don’t suppress,
When I appear, you will see.

But if you know me by name,
Than you should tell it to the stars,
Your whisper will become a flame,
And I will feel you from afar.

I want to get to know you,
I want to tell you who I am,
All I can do is leave a clue,
For you to find, I know you can.

Space child forgotten by time,
Looking down at us from above,
He is a silent, lonely mime,
Who’s never known human love.

He feels no sorrows, no regret,
Conceived inside a blazing flame,
He is a mere silhouette,
He is a beast without a name.

He knows stars and their age,
Things that we cannot comprehend,
He knows his purpose at this stage,
Enlightened do not yearn for friends.

He is alone, yet he is free,
And looking down from atop,
He has the faculty to see,
That we are nothing but a flop. . .

I’m walking in the haze,
I’m numb, I feel no pain,
I’m stuck inside this maze,
But I am not insane.

It’s hard to find your flock,
So many birds in sight,
This labyrinth is locked,
And I don’t want to fight.

I’m gonna let it be,
Give in and melt away,
Perhaps there is no key,
So I will have to stay.

Until the end of times,
I’ll be inside this place,
Fenced in by thorny vines,
Be gone without a trace.

Princess in a tower,
Gets rescued by her knight,
He has all the power,
Has dignity and might.

But I was left alone,
To fight my own war,
The flock of swans is gone,
They left this stale shore.

Somewhere very far,
A knight has lost his way,
I tell him:”I’m a star”,
But I am held at bay.

And he will have to cross,
A desert and a sea,
He has no time to toss,
He has to set me free.

We say: “ashes to ashes, dust to dust”,
A heart can only handle so much,
At times reality is hard to grasp,
But we move on, no time to hold a grudge.

Whom can you tell your frozen, deepest fears?
Will they amaze you with their kindness?
When you’re alone and drowning in tears,
Is there someone to make you suffer less?

I’ve ached before and aching yet again,
I know you’re looking, but you cannot touch,
I want you near, but you still refrain,
I heard before that I am just “too much”.

I’d rather be too much than not enough,
I feel the joy and cheer to the max,
When I am happy, all I do is laugh,
But sadness wanders in my life through cracks.

I feel I’m in the house of looking glass,
But it is broken, shattered on the floor,
I’m left alone to clean this deadly mass,
And silence chills me down to the core.

It’s never good or bad, it simply is,
I’ve said this phrase so many times before,
But I’m still falling into the abyss,
And glass lays broken on the dirty floor.

I like those days when clouds cry,
Their tears run from pale sky,
The color of the trees against-
-the mighty gray is so intense.

It is a mystery untold,
For now everything’s on hold,
But soon you’ll feel the rush of change,
It’s time to turn another page.

When rain starts falling from above,
I feel divine, eternal love,
Instead of feeling cold and sad,
I like the fact that I am wet.

Oh, life is full of foggy days,
The memories we can’t erase,
But I am glad to be alive,
And watch the clouds pass me by.

My eyes are craving something new,
I find beauty, nonetheless,
In everything that has a hue,
Earth never fails to impress.

I’m traveling in thoughts with you,
Around the globe, by land and sea,
So much for us to get into,
Adventure’s calling, can’t you see?

Or maybe, you are not awake,
Your eyes are shut; your dream is deep,
And only God knows how to break- -
You free from charms and lifeless sleep.

I pray to Him that you’re all-right,
My thoughts fly high on angels’ wings,
They search for you through darkest night,
Through autumn, winter, summer, spring. . .

I’ll stand by you no matter what,
I feel you’re crying deep within,
Some things in life cannot be bought,
Sometimes you fight, but cannot win.

I cry with you, not tears of joy,
It’s hard when you are not in sight,
I want to break the devil’s ploy,
And bring you back into the light.

Sunlight, moonlight, change is near,
A sudden turning of my head,
I’m anxious. . .What’s there to fear-
If what you see is what you get?

I sink so deep inside myself,
Ashamed and lost with blushing heart,
Awake me from this wicked spell!
This burn is breaking me apart!

But I will pray, then, fall asleep,
Desires will be put to rest,
Enigma will be buried deep,
I will have nothing to detest.

The morning dew will wash away,
Despair from the night before,
I will enfold a brand new day,
As I get out of the door.

"Hidden Mystery" by Stacey Geyer

Is there a fountain of timeless youth,
Where children’s laughter runs through lucid air,
Where roads are straight and avenues are smooth,
And none of them are leading anywhere?

When running through a park I see a creek,
I cannot help, but wonder if it’s there,
Between the trees where no one ever seeks,
Because, let’s face it, people just don’t care.

But I enjoy the thought from time-to-time,
That hidden in the shadows of the woods,
Unknown mystery is still alive,
It’s still untouched and not yet understood.
